Description:
Capreomycin is a polypeptide and is active against strains of Mycobacterium tuberculosis found in humans. There is no cross-resistance between Capreomycin and the other anti-tuberculosis drugs and capreomycin and therefore is the essential component of therapy regimens for tuberculosis caused by mycobacteria with multiple or with extensive drug resistance. This formulation is intended for intravenous infusion and injection (IV, IM).
