Social Responsibility

Goals

Our values and principles have always been the cornerstone of our success. They inspire trust and confidence among the medical community, government officials, regulatory authorities, our clients, healthcare professionals, and patients — everyone who plays a pivotal role in achieving our goals.

More importantly, these values and principles foster trust and confidence within our team, instilling a sense of pride and the desire to achieve great things at Kraspharma.

Yes, we care deeply about the results we achieve. But we also care about how we achieve them.

In recent years, significant changes have reshaped the way we conduct our business. However, no matter how much we evolve and grow, the essence of who we are remains unchanged: providing innovative, distinctive products and services that sustain and enhance lives.

Health and Safety of Our Employees

We operate with particular attention to the health and safety of our employees, as well as the protection of the general public. Each of us is responsible for following safety regulations and taking precautions to protect our colleagues and ourselves.

We must report all accidents and workplace injuries, and take steps to correct unsafe working conditions in order to continuously improve our operations.

Product Quality

We do everything within our power to meet the expectations of consumers and distributors, as well as comply with regulatory requirements related to research, development, manufacturing, packaging, testing, supply, and distribution of our products.

Quality means consistently meeting requirements and expectations by providing products and services of the highest quality in a timely manner.

Our products are extremely important to end users — patients with a wide range of medical conditions. The effectiveness of any pharmaceutical product manufactured by PJSC Kraspharma directly impacts their health and lives. Thanks to our status as a high-tech pharmaceutical company, whose products included in the List of Vital and Essential Drugs (VED) meet the strictest requirements for medicines, we have earned the trust of healthcare professionals, public health administrators, government officials, wholesalers, and distributors. Achieving high quality depends on our ability to listen to and respect the opinions of our clients in the business environment.

At the same time, we continue to improve quality across all areas of our business to stay ahead of the curve and provide innovative products and services that meet the needs of today's world and anticipate those of tomorrow.

Harassment in the Workplace

We strive to maintain an environment free from harassment, where every employee is treated with respect. Harassment in the workplace is often a form of discrimination, typically defined as any verbal or physical actions directed at an individual based on certain characteristics, such as gender, race, age, or religious beliefs, as well as any actions that unreasonably create a threatening, hostile, or offensive work environment.

Undoubtedly, harassment in any form is unacceptable.

Openness in Interaction

The effectiveness and safety of drug therapy depend not only on the quality of our products but also on the quality of the information we provide to the medical community and the general public.

The information provided to healthcare professionals and distributors about our products and services should be useful, accurate, and supported by scientific data.

Information regarding product availability and delivery must be up-to-date, delivered as quickly as possible, and presented appropriately.

We do not engage in product discussions for the purpose of marketing before the product is intended for such use. However, this does not restrict us from fully and properly exchanging scientific information.

Supplier Selection

We select goods and services that best contribute to the long-term prosperity of our company. Therefore, when choosing our suppliers, we rely primarily on price, quality, service, diversity, reputation, business practices, and environmental protection methods.

We take special care in selecting suppliers of active pharmaceutical ingredients and primary packaging materials to ensure the effectiveness and safety of the medicinal products we release.

The company maintains long-standing partnerships with many leading manufacturers of active pharmaceutical ingredients. The search for new suppliers is a responsible process, with the main criteria for selection being: the presence of a functioning quality management system; GMP certification; ISO 15378 and ISO 9001 certifications; results of quality control tests of substance samples and packaging materials, as well as audits of the supplier’s facilities.

We also expect our suppliers to uphold the core labor standards established by the International Labour Organization (ILO) against child and forced labor.

Invitations to Conferences/Symposia

We support the organization of and strive to participate in educational programs that are essential for the exchange of up-to-date medical and scientific information.

We also recognize the importance of these events being conducted in an appropriate and professional manner, which will ultimately have a positive impact on the quality of patient care.

The organization of such events (venue, invited opinion leaders, material costs, etc.) should be carried out with consideration of the type of event (conference, symposium, round table, working discussion) and the target audience.

Relationships with Suppliers

We treat all our suppliers and contractors fairly and honestly.

We respect the terms and conditions of our contracts with suppliers, and we fulfill our obligations under them.

We strive to pay for the products and services provided to us on time, and we take care to protect the confidential and proprietary information of our suppliers.

We also have a competitive bidding system in place, which gives suppliers the opportunity to compete.

Fair Competition

We believe that our customers and society as a whole benefit from fair, free, and open markets.

It is on this principle that we base our competition in the pharmaceutical industry, and we do not enter into any agreements to "fix" prices, pre-emptively lower prices, or otherwise restrict trade.

Our principles of fair competition are:

We do not share or exchange price-related information with competitors. This includes pricing policies, discounts, promotions, fees, warranties, and sales terms. If a competitor voluntarily discloses such information, whether at a meeting of the Chamber of Commerce or in a doctor's office, we must immediately end the conversation and report the incident to the Legal Department. While the exchange of such information may have been completely innocent, it could create the appearance of collusion between competitors regarding pricing and trade.
We actively compete for every customer. We do not enter into any agreements with competitors regarding customers, distributors, or territories. We act honestly and openly, relying on the merits of our products.
We do not misrepresent our competitors' products. We ensure that our employees, distributors, and consumers are equipped with the necessary knowledge regarding our fair competition requirements as well as applicable competition laws.

Public Relations

Interaction with the media plays a crucial role in building and maintaining the company's image and overall business reputation.

It is very important for us that the exchange of information is consistent and that all regulatory and legal obligations are fulfilled.

All public inquiries and media requests for information must be forwarded for review and approval.

Data Protection and Personal Information of Clients/Patients

We consider it important to maintain confidentiality regarding information about those we work with: suppliers, investors, partners, patients, and clinical trial participants.

However, there are instances when legitimate research and business activities may require reviewing patient medical records or collecting personal information.

Our privacy policy focuses on several principles (outlined below), but is not limited to them:

Necessity – We must define the business purposes for which the use and collection of personal information is required, and, whenever possible, avoid using identifiable information.
Notice and Choice – We must inform individuals about the use and collection of their personal information. Additionally, in general, we should provide the option to object to or "opt-out" of the use of personal information.
Data Integrity – Personal information must be accurate, complete, and up-to-date, as outlined in agreements and notices.
Security and Transfer – We must take reasonable measures to protect personal information from loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, or alteration.
Protecting the privacy of personal information is also a legal matter. We must comply with all legislative requirements in addition to our own company standards.

Our Work Environment

We strive to create a work environment that attracts and retains talented individuals and helps them fully realize their potential. Each of us is responsible for fostering an atmosphere of trust and respect, as well as contributing to a productive workplace.

We encourage open communication and, by being receptive to the ideas and interests of others, promote constructive collaboration.

We respect the privacy and dignity of our colleagues and ensure the confidentiality of employee records. The company collects and maintains personal information necessary for functions such as benefits, compensation, payroll, and other purposes in compliance with the law and in accordance with the personal notices we provide to our employees.

We safeguard the personal information of our employees and use it only for legitimate business purposes, in compliance with all applicable laws. This privacy policy extends beyond the period of employment and applies to personal information about former employees as well.

Compliance with Laws, Norms, and Regulations

Being a socially responsible company means that we strive to comply with applicable laws and aim to adhere to the norms and rules that govern all aspects of our business, including research, development, manufacturing, marketing, sales, and distribution of pharmaceutical products.

The company adopts industry codes and standards relevant to our business and complies with them wherever they apply.

We cooperate with all regulatory authorities and adhere to all regulatory requirements in the regions where we operate.

Fair Treatment of Employees

To meet our high standards, we must create an organization that responds quickly to change, where all employees can fully realize their potential. Differences in experience, perspectives, and talents are a core strength of our company.

We treat everyone fairly; we recruit, select, develop, promote, and compensate based on merit, experience, and other job-related criteria.

Fair treatment also means that we respect our colleagues' rights to constructively express disagreements on various issues.

However, we must remember that open communication, including the willingness to "disagree," is vital both for a positive work environment and for our success in business.
