Intraoperative blood loss significantly worsens the prognosis after both emergency and planned surgeries. Moreover, postoperative bleeding is clearly one of the most significant and severe complications in surgery, traumatology, orthopedics, urology, obstetrics, and gynecology.

To prevent massive intraoperative blood loss and reduce the risk of repeated interventions due to complications, antifibrinolytic drugs are widely used, one of which is aminocaproic acid.
