In the context of growing needs in domestic healthcare and the political direction focused on import substitution, there is a clear interest from the government in leading Russian pharmaceutical companies capable of providing the country with essential and critical medicines.

On November 14, 2016, a working visit of the Governor of Krasnoyarsk Krai, Viktor Alexandrovich Tolokonsky, took place at the PJSC "Kraspharma" plant, the only pharmaceutical enterprise in the region.

During the visit, the Governor and representatives of the regional administration were introduced to the production processes, highly appreciating the results of the enterprise's modernization. They also held a working meeting to discuss pressing issues facing the company.

It is worth noting the Governor's words following the meeting: “Such technological enterprises form the foundation and culture of industrial production in the region, with a strong research base, highly qualified specialists, and prospects for developing a large number of new drugs.”
